Every year brings its own challenges and insights, but 2025 stood out as a year that deeply shaped my outlook on life. The lessons I learned were not just abstract ideas but practical truths that changed how I approach decisions, relationships, and goals. The life lessons revolve around three core themes: bold moves require unshakable faith, speaking up can lead to unexpected help, and vision setting is a powerful tool to call forth what you want.
These lessons are not just for reflection but for action. They offer guidance on how to face fear, build courage, and live with purpose. Here’s a closer look at what 2025 ingrained in me.
Bold Moves Happen by Unflinching Faith
Taking bold steps often feels risky. Fear can freeze us in place, making it easier to stay comfortable than to leap into the unknown. In 2025, I realized that faith is the fuel that powers courage. Faith here means trust in God, belief in your own strength, and confidence that even if things don’t go as planned, you will find a way forward.
For example, when I wanted to do my book launch this year. I didn't have the money for it. But I trusted God all the way. I prayed and called forth the money, and the Lord provided every single need. Apart from the money I was able to save for the launch, He sent people to give me financial support and I am very grateful to Him.
Key takeaways:
Faith is trust in the unseen God to deliver results for you in the physical world.
Courage grows when you focus on the next step, not the entire journey.
Fear is natural but does not have to control your actions.

Speaking Up Produces Help
One of the most surprising lessons from 2025 was how much power lies in simply speaking up. Whether it was asking for help, sharing an idea, or expressing a concern, voicing my thoughts opened doors I didn’t expect.
In one instance, I was struggling with my house and the letting agents. Something was not working properly in my house and this was preventing me from bathing at home. I alternated from the gym to church and other people's house to shower for close to 4 weeks. When I spoke to some people, they told me what to do to ensure my letting agents fixed the problem. It was after I sought their advise and applied what I was told that my letting agents fixed the house.
Practical points to remember:
Expressing your needs or ideas invites others to support you.
Fear of judgment or rejection is common but usually unfounded.
The Power of Vision Setting and Calling Forth What You Want
Vision setting ha always been a cornerstone of my journey since 2020. It’s more than just writing down goals; it’s about creating a clear mental picture of what you want and regularly reminding yourself of it. This practice helps align your actions and decisions with your desired future.
I started using vision boards officially in 2025 and I also added daily affirmations to keep my goals in focus. For example, I visualized doing my book launch this year and passing my practical driving test. This clarity made it easier to stay motivated and measure progress.
Vision setting also helped me overcome fear by shifting my attention from what could go wrong to what I wanted to create. It gave me a sense of control and purpose, even when external circumstances were uncertain.
Tips for effective vision setting:
Be specific about what you want, including how it feels and looks.
Review your vision regularly to keep it alive and relevant.
Bringing It All Together
The life lessons from 2025 taught me that faith, courage, and clear vision are interconnected. Faith fuels courage to take bold steps despite fear. Speaking up breaks barriers and invites support. Vision setting keeps you focused on what matters and helps call forth your goals.
These lessons are practical and actionable. They remind us that fear is a natural part of growth but does not have to stop us. By trusting ourselves, communicating openly, and holding a clear vision, we can navigate uncertainty with strength.
