How I slept off in the bus & almost missed my destination

Something happened last week Saturday. I was travelling to somewhere but the journey was long, so I dozed off in the bus. 

When I woke up, I saw the bus open and one glance at the google map made me believe I was at my location, so I rushed out of the bus.

Thank God I told the bus driver where I was going at the start of my journey. 

He now called me back. That he thinks where I am going is further down the road. That I should go back to the bus. That’s how I went back and lo and behold my other bag was even on the chair I was dozing on😂.

My people, I would have arrived at my destination with no ID card to access the place. 

Unbelievably,  the journey to my destination from where the bus driver called me back was far. If I had actually walked from there I would have trekked tirelessly. 

Guys, never sleep in the bus unless your partner or friend is with you. 

Meanwhile, is this not how we sometimes want to jump into things without first having clarity on what we’re about going into. 

Prov 19:2 AMPC puts it this way, 'Desire without knowledge is not good and to be overhasty is to sin and miss the mark'. 

One thing I’m learning this year is to slow down and think before acting. 

So as we move into another month, find time to think about what you want to do before doing it. 

Are there people you can ask questions, so that you can have more understanding about what you want to do? 

Like my mother would say: he who asks questions, seldom misses the road.
